Bank of India SO Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 205 Specialist Officer Posts

Bank of India (BOI) has opened recruitment for Specialist Officers in various technology, security, engineering, legal and other specialised streams up to Scale IV under Project No. 2026-27/02. The Bank specifies that candidates must possess the qualification prescribed for the particular post and be able to produce documentary evidence of their education, professional experience and mandatory certifications.

Important Qualification Rule

Where a post prescribes 60% marks, eligible candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories applying against reserved vacancies receive a 5% relaxation, making the requirement 55%. The percentage must be calculated according to the candidate’s university rules; where CGPA/OGPA is used, it must be converted into percentage.

Candidates should therefore check the post-specific Annexure-I eligibility before applying rather than assuming that one qualification applies to all 156 vacancies.

The basic pay scale depends upon the officer’s grade:
