Educational Qualification
Navik (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Mathematics and Physics from a school education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a COBSE-recognized school education board.
Yantrik: Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board and possess a 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering, or an approved 2/3-year diploma as specified in the notification.

Indian Coast Guard CGEPT Age Limit
For Navik (GD) – CGEPT-01/27 & 02/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2005 and 01 May 2009.
For Yantrik – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 May 2005 and 01 May 2009.
For Navik (DB) – CGEPT-02/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2005 and 01 October 2009.
For Hygienist – CGEPT-01/27, candidates should be born between 01 November 2007 and 01 October 2009.
Age relaxation is applicable as per the notification: OBC – 03 years and SC/ST – 05 years, wherever applicable.

Indian Coast Guard CGEPT Exam Pattern
Stage-I – Computer Based Examination
Stage-I is a Computer Based Examination (CBE). The paper contains 100 questions carrying 100 marks and the duration is 1 hour. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
